Six hours are up! Since our last poll invited you to ease into a passionate frame of mind, it’s only appropriate that we now look to the mood-killers of Azeroth, those heinous boors whose presence is to romance what the cold light of day is to a drunken evening’s licentiousness.

I’ll be one of the live hosts today for the ¬†Twisted Nether Blizzcon¬†LiveBlog– which is in progress right now-¬†along with my much-more-charming friends¬†Vidyala and Rades, so come on down! It’s free and fun and fabulous in equal measure.

Who doesn't love a good fun-sucker?

This morning’s poll owes everything to that Lord of Lore, that Sultan of Stories, that Chief of Beliefes, Rades. I asked Rades to tell me who in the lore would be as cold a bucket of water as you could possibly wish for, and did he ever deliver!

So screw on your thinking caps, sober up quick, and tell us all: Which fun-sucking lore figure would you LEAST like to have a beer with?

Six hours is up, and we’re back, in the dead of the night for those of us in North America. Night owls in Anaheim are still going strong, and the dearth of gin ‘n’ juice is no doubt fueling the fires of moonlit revelry for them- hey, and for those of us playing along at home. In just a few hours, DA will be on hand with Vidyala (Manalicious) and Rades (Orcish Army Knife), along with a host of other fabulous typers, at the Twisted Nether Blizzcon LiveBlog event to bring you the very latest from the panels at Blizzcon as it happens!

Nothing ventured, nothing gained

But for now, as most of our countrymen sleep- or at least doze fitfully- the Warcraft-lover is up and ready to vote with a vengeance. And under this blanket of stars, in the cool of the evening, with so many of us pleasingly full of a delightful sufficiency of red wine, as the libidos of Blizzcon attendees reach their feverish peaks, there can only be one possible question:

Which race would do the dirty deed best?

It’s been six hours, and the excitement of the convention is now well and truly underway! Whether you’re sneaking your poll responses from Anaheim, watching the LiveStream of the event, or tuning in to a live blog of the festivities (for example, the Twisted Nether Blizzcon¬†LiveBlog, which yours truly will be co-hosting on Saturday, just to select one at random).

There are a million stories in the naked city- er, cities

It’s time for a poll with a nod to those of playing along at home, which is truly where the heart is- hey, you didn’t really want to see the Foo Fighters, right? So let’s put it out there: if you were enjoying Blizzcon remotely from your Azerothian home, in which capital city would you hang your hat?

As I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I fear no evil, because– ohshit. There’s a rogue right behind me. I fear! I fear!! I FEAR ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Fear spells only work sometimes; most of the time, we find ourselves lying in a bloody heap, wondering what happened and if those keybinds might, perhaps, need to be replaced for PvP. It’s called flopsweatdeath, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

I say, would you mind awfully not adding me to your body count?

We all have a certain class we avoid in battlegrounds. “If that Warlock is going over THERE, I’m going over HYNAH”, sort of thing- and that’s just common sense. Some classes kill us so dead we never want to hit that Random Battleground button again. So here’s the burning crusade question of the moment: Which class do you most hate to fight in PvP?

It’s Friday, folks, and you know what that means- today might be the day we learn about the new expansion! Sure, some of us might be watching it crouched around our monitors as we scream in agony when the feed stutters, or similarly engaged as PPV makes or breaks the first-to-know status of our hearts- but no matter! The important thing is, today’s the day that it’s a possibility.

Whole lotta shakin' went on

As we await what we can only hope is the witching hour of expansion announcements, I’d like us all to cast our eyes backwards and ask ourselves the question that dare speak its name: Which expansion- up until this afternoon’s reveal, we can but hope- was the best? Please don’t get blood on the carpets.
