This is one of my all-time favorites from a writing perspective (the visual is a little strange- originally I meant for DinoTam to be leaving the note, but it rather looks like he’s reading it instead, implying a complicated relationship with someone else- another raptor? a cannibalistic human keeper?- that wasn’t intended in the least).
But I love the writing. I’m never usually this clever, and I swear it won’t happen again.
I could use a gnome salad right now.
LOL gnomish deliciousness with a piquant of machine oil and blasting powder. What SHALL he eat for breakfast? Hmmm.
Is that Sir Dinotam?
But of course! Did you see the original Tweet?
PS- If you’re not reading it in Garrison Keillor’s voice, you’re truly missing out.
Ah, the Garrison Keillor voice makes it so much better! <3 Writer's Almanac
You can, in point of fact, hear him read it hynah:
The Writer’s Almanac – 17th September, 2003

Oh wow. I distinctly recall that Writer’s Almanac, too. I was listening on my way to work. I *knew* it was so familiar.
So familiar, it too me a week or so to respond in here. =D
This gave me a dinosaur-sized grin on my face!

Giggle. That’s awesome. Thank you Disco!
I laughed so hard at this – BRILLIANT =D
I didn’t mention… I laughed… a lot… Not something I do at Gnomnomnom jokes.
Every time a gnome chuckles, a gryphon gets its wings
So glad you enjoyed it!
*lol* I never saw the Twitter – but I immediately thought of DinoTam when I saw the image
